Artist's Description

3628 digits of Pi are encoded in a 6 level treemap. Each of the 6 levels of the treemap is shown separately. The levels 1-6 individually encode 1, 4, 15, 98, 548 and 2962 digits. Cumulatively levels 1-6 encode 1, 5, 20, 118, 666 and 3628 digits. Coloring is random using primary colors in the style of Piet Mondrian.
